Finally...

Finally after lots of pondering and reading everyone else's blog I have taken that leap into the world of blogging and its not as scary as I thought! I have been reading blogs for a few months now and just love reading and being inspired first thing in the morning - my morning routine now involves working out (sometimes), my big cup of coffee and reading a blog or three - i am currently following Cherry blossom Girl, Liberty London Girl and Wardrobe Refashion (not sure how to link in pages just yet but just google them)! My dad has always told to read more which helps to exercise your brain...after all it is a muscle!

So Betty Blogs....the name came about when a colleague from work came over to mine and saw my dressmakers dummie and I was saying how I want to give her a name - and she said it looks like a Betty so thats how it came about - I love Betty and this blog will be all about little stories of me, fashion tips and articles I come across! Those who know me, know that I am trying to break back into the fashion/dressmaking side but more as a hobby - I studied this at School and Uni and since I moved to London it has become more of a hobby - but in the last few months (since I moved in with the Battersea Babes) it has taken over my spare time but i am loving it!

This blog will enable me to 1) log what I am working on, 2) keep my friends and followers in the loop of my antics - work wise and maybe more, 3) to hopefully inspire others to join in the re-fashioning of clothes / visiting Gallaries/Exhibitions etc...and for you to comment on what you like and maybe what youwant to see more more once i start my collection..(you will see this in the coming weeks)., and 4) just in general to give fashion advice and tips I have found useful and hopefully you will too....!
